Professional Career[edit]

Gerhard Prätorius joined Volkswagen in 1992 as manager for environment, and has been in charge of CSR and Sustainability at the Volkswagen Group since 2006. He also worked for the Volkswagen Group as a managing director for regional development agencies, dealing with technology transfer, especially in the fields of new transportation systems and environmental technologies. He also works as a lecturer at the Technical University Carolo-Wilhelmina Braunschweig.

Education[edit]

Gerhard Prätorius graduated in Political Science and German Literature from the University of Marburg and holds a Master of Economics from the University of Frankfurt am Main.
