Hon. Franco Frattini is a prominent Italian politician and president of the Italian Society for International Organization (SIOI) as well as the Foundation Alcide De Gasperi since 2012.

Education and Career

After graduating with a Law degree in 1979, Frattini was appointed State Prosecutor in 1981 and quickly rose to State Advocate to the Attorney General’s Office in 1984. 1984 – 1986 he served as Judge to the Piemonte Regional Administrative Court (1984-1986) and was appointed as a member of the Italian Supreme Administrative Court in 1986.
