Francisco Javier Yanguas Fernández, born 19 December 1972 in Pamplona, Navarra, is a Spanish senator representing the Spanish region of Navarra in the 10th Congress of Deputies. Yanguas Fernández is a member of Unión del Pueblo Navarro (UPN) within the Joint Parliamentary Group, Grupo Parlamentario Mixto (GPMX) in the Spanish Senate.

Political Career[edit]

Francisco Javier Yanguas Fernández began his political career as a deputy mayor in Fitero (Navarra) in 1999. Later on in 2003 he was appointed mayor, a position he is still holding. Nowadays in the Spanish Senate,Yanguas Fernández is a deputy spokesman of the Joint Parliamentary Group and a spokesman in the Commission of Defense, the Committee on Employment and Social Security and the Joint Committee on Relations with the Ombudsman.

Education[edit]

Yanguas Fernández has a degree in Law. Despite on leave, Francisco Javier Yanguas Fernández is responsible for projects in the Navarra Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
