Andreas Fakontis is a representative of Pafos constituency under the banner of AKEL-Left-New Forces since 2006. He served as Chairman of the House Standing Committee on the Environment and Deputy Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Labour and Social Insurance.Currently he serves as Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Labour and Social Insurance and as Member of the House Standing Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources and of the House Standing Committee on Communications and Works.
