Elisabeth Meuleman
Elisabeth Meuleman was born on 3 September 1975 in Gent (Belgium). She is a member of the Belgian Senate for the Flemish Green Party (Groen).
Political Career[edit]
She started her political career in 2006 as a councillor in Oudenaarde. She has been a member of the Flemish Parliament for Groen since 2009. Her parliamentary work is focused on education. She led the Groen group in the Flemish Parliament from 2012 and 2014. Since 2014, Elisabeth Meuleman has been a Community Senator in the Belgian Senate for the Flemish Greens (Groen).

She graduated in philosophy and comparative literature.
