Ciara Conway, (Born: 13/08/1980) is an Irish Labour Party Politician. She is the Labour TD for Waterford and was elected at the 2011 general election.

Ciara Conway, (Born: 13/08/1980) is an Irish Labour Party Politician. She is the Labour TD for Waterford and was elected at the 2011 general election.

Political Career

She played a key role in ensuring the Protection of Life during Pregnancy was passed in January 2013. She was the first ever women to represent the Labour Party for the constituency of Waterford. Prior to her election as an MP she was elected to the Dungarvan council in 2009. She has also worked as an anti-discrimination officer in Galway and participated in the Labour Youth programme.

Education

She has studied an MA in Social Work at U.C.C. and a bachelors in Public and Social Policy at NUI.
