Christophe Lacroix was born on 22 December 1966 in Huy (Belgium). He is member of the Belgian Senate as co-opted Senator for the French-speaking Socialist Party (PS). He is Minister of Budget, Public Functions, and Administrative Simplifications in the Walloon Government.

Political Career

He was a councillor in the province of Liège for the PS during the period 2006-2012. He is also a former member of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives (2012-2014). Since the local elections in 2012, he is Alderman in Wanze. Since May 2014, he is co-opted Senator for the French-speaking socialists (PS), and Minister of Budget, Public Functions, and Administrative Simplifications in the Walloon Government.
