Christophe Castaner was born in Ollioules (Var) on January 3rd, 1966.

Political Career

Christophe Castaner is the Mayor of Forcalquier and the Regional Councillor of the Canton of Provence-Alpes-Côte in the d’Azur region. He is currently working on his first mandate as a deputy at the National Assembly for the Socialist Party, since he started his activity on the 14th legislature (2012-06-17). Christophe Castaner takes part in two parliamentary commissions (Finance; Special Commission for the consideration of the law project relative to the simplification of corporate life) and is the vice-president of the Friendship Group for Chili-Mexico.

Education

Christophe Castaner holds a Master’s degree from the Law University of Aix-en-Provence. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Science and Criminology.
