Christiane Vienne was born on 18 January 1951 in Moeskroen (Belgium). She is the Community Senator for the French-speaking Socialist Party (PS).

Political Career

Christiane Vienne has been a councillor for Moeskroen since the 2006 local elections. Between 2004-2007 she was Minister of Public Health, Social Action, and Equal Opportunities in the Walloon Government Di Rupo. She was co-opted senator in 2003-2004 and again between 2007 and 2010. Since 2014, she has been Community Senator for the PS.

Education

She graduated in economic and social policy from UCL.
