Catharina Bråkenhielm was born on the 3e of November 1956 in Luleå, Sweden. She is a member of the Swedish parliament representing the Social Democrats.

Political Career[edit]

Catharina Bråkenhielm was first elected member of parliament in 2002. She was a member of the Committee of Law between 2002-2006. In 2002-2010 she was a deputy in the Committee of Taxes. Since 2006 she is a deputy of the Committee of Social Affairs, after the elections in 2014 she also became a member of the Committee of Civil Affairs.
