Carlos Manuel Cotillas López is a Spanish politician and member of the People’s Party. He was born in Ciudad Real on June 19th, 1970.

Political Career

Carlos Manuel Cotillas López is currently serving as a Senator at the Senate of Spain. He has held this position since 2011 when he was elected in the last general elections to represent Ciudad Real. He also served as a deputy at the Spanish Congress (2008-2011). He has also performed several roles at Tomelloso city council (Ciudad Real). He served as a councillor from 1991 to 1995. In 1999 he was elected city mayor, a position that he has held for four consecutive terms (1999-2011). From 2007 to 2008 he was designated People’s Party Spokesman at the Deputation of Ciudad Real.

Education

Carlos Manuel Cotillas López graduated in Law.
