Beatriz Elorriaga Pisarik was born in San Sebastián on September 29 1957. She is currently a member of the Spanish Senate within the People’s Party (PP).

Political Career[edit]

Pisarik held the positions of President of Council Member Districts Fuencarral-El Pardo and Tetouan (1995-1999) and Executive Council Member-Area for Social Services (1999-2003). She was elected Deputy Regional in the Madrid Assembly in the elections of May 25, 2003, after the electoral victory by an absolute majority of the Popular Party in the elections of October 26, 2003. Esperanza Aguirre named her Councillor of Family and Social Affairs of the Commonwealth of Madrid. She was elected Regional Senator in Madrid on 30 June 2008.

Pisarik graduated in Geography and History from the Complutense University of Madrid.

Notable Work[edit]

The Upper House has highlighted her job as Speaker of the People's Party in the Special Study Commission on the new forms of social exclusion as a result of the sharp increase unemployment, as well as being vocal other committees on Local Authorities and Housing,
