Andrzej Dera was born on 10th September 1961 in Ostrów Wielkopolski. He is a Polish politician, lawyer and member of Parliament since 2005 (V,VI,VII cadency).
Political Career[edit]
Andrzej Dera worked in the Committee of Citizens 'Solidarity' between 1990 and 1991. Between 1991-1993 he belonged to the Center Alliance, from 1996 until 1999 he was a member of the Christian-National Union, and between in 1999-2001 the AWS Social Movement. From 2001 until 2011 he worked in Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice), and in 2012 he sat on the board of the newly formed party Solidarity Poland (he was also the Secretary General).
By 1998 he was employed in local government administration. In 1999-2002 he was governor of Ostrow. Later he worked in a private group. From 1998 to 2005, he served on the board of the county.
