From December 2012 in the Committee on State Administration and Local Authorities, and Commission for Maritime and Fishery Affairs.

From 1975 to 1979 studied motor operation at the Polytechnic Institute of Vilnius. After serving in the army in 1981 year, entered the Vilnius Institute of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Technology. He studied and worked as a mechanic in Vilnius. In 1987 graduated.

Algis Strelciunas (born 7 September 1960 in Vilnius, Lithuania) is an engineer, activist and politician. Since 2012, he has worked in the Committee on State Administration and Local Authorities from Homeland Union as a member of the Lithuanian Christian Democrat Political Group.
