Alain Suguenot

Alain Suguenot (born September 17, 1951) is a UMP (Union for a Popular Movement) member of the French National Assembly for the fifth district of Côte-d'Or in Eastern France.

Political Career[edit]

Sugeunot began his political career in 1986 when he was elected as a Municipal Councillor, then Vice-President, of the Regional Council of Burgundy.

In 1995, Suguenot became Mayor of Beaune and in 2002, he was elected to the French National Assembly for the fifth district of Côte-d'Or. In Paris, Suguenot has been working to protect the Burgundian economy as well as the support environmental movements in the area.

Education[edit]

Suguenot grew up and went to primary school in his hometown of Troyes in Burgundy.
