Editing Alain Marc

Alain Leboeuf (born February 2, 1964) is a member of the National Assembly of France for the first district of Vendée, on the west coast of France.
Alain Marc,born January 29, 1957 in Paris, is a member of the National Assembly of France for the third district of Avreyon, in the north-east of the Midi-Pyrenees region of southern France. He is retired Occitan teacher. 

==  Political Career  ==

Member of the ''Parti Radical Valoisien'' (Valoisien Radical Party), he was elected member of the third district of Aveyron in 2007 for the thirteenth legislature (2007-2012). Marc was reelected in 2012 for the XIV legislature (2012-2017) under the political party of Union pour un Mouvement Populaire (UMP). Alain Marc supported the candidacy of François Fillon for the presidency of the UMP during the Fall Conference of 2012 then joined Fillon's parliamentary group, the "Rassemblement-UMP". He is also a member of the political party ''Chêne'', a french political party which has ''Gaullisme'' as its core value.

Alain Marc was elected senator from Aveyron September 28, 2014, during his second term in the National Assembly, taking with UDI Jean-Claude Luche, the two seats held by the left. Furthermore, they beat the former minister of state reform Anne-Marie Escoffier (Ayrault government) in the 1st round of voting.

On 20 October 2009, Alain together with Marc Xavier Breton, deputy from Ain, presented a report on evaluations within primary education system. This report is the result of a mission entrusted to the two MPs after the critics against the national assessments taking place in the classrooms of EC1 and CM2 during the 2008-2009 school year. Both MPs called for better organization of the educational community organizing assessments, clarification of the objective assessments and improvements in both contents and the gradual establishment of a culture of evaluation in France.
