Juan Antonio Abad Pérez is a member of the Popular Party. He is currently a deputy of "La Rioja" in the Congress of Deputies. He has been a member of the X legislature since 2011.

Biography

Juan Antonio Abad Pérez is born in Arnedo (La rioja) in 1958. He holds a degree in Economics and Business from the Catholic Institute of Business Administration ( iCade ) in Madrid. After completing his studies, he started working as an economist. He entered politics as a member of the Popular Party.

Political Career

Years later began directing the municipal People's Party which was presented in 2003 for mayor of Arnedo Alcalde. In the same year he was also a candidate for deputy in the lists of the People's Party for the elections to the Parliament of La Rioja in 2003 where he managed to get a seat for the V , VI Legislature. Later he left his seat in the Rioja regional parliament and won a seat in the House of Representatives after being introduced as the PP candidate for the General Election Spain 2011. He is currently a member of the Committee of Economy and Competitiveness , Employment and Safety social and is also first secretary of the Committee on Finance and Public Administration . From the day April 25, 2012 he became a member of the Territorial Council of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.
