Željko Šemper was born on 17 January 1944 in Hlebine. He is a member of the Croatian Party of Pensioners (HSU; Croatian: Hrvatska Stranka Umirovljenika) and has been a member of the Croatian Parliament (Hrvatski sabor) during its seventh term.

Political Career[edit]

Šemper's term of office began on 22 December 2011. He is a member of the Tourism Committee, a member of the Committee on the Family, Youth and Sports, and the chairperson of the Deputy Club of the Croatian Party of Pensioners.

Education[edit]

Šemper completed his two-year post secondary school education at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics - Economist.
