Lyliana Pavlova (born December 6, 1977) is a Bulgarian politician.

Biography

Lyliana Pavlova is Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, succeeding her erstwhile BOSS Rossen Plevneliev who resigned on September 7 2011 after being named ruling party GERB's candidate in the October 23 presidential elections. Pavlova was previously deputy minister for the past two years.

Her earlier career included various posts working with EU funds. From 1999 to 2002 she worked in the Regional Development Ministry's ISPA funds co-ordination unit and from 2002 to 2009 was at the Ministry of Finance, working in financial management.

Education

Previously, Pavlova obtained a PhD in economics, a masters in public administration and European integration from Varna Free University and a bachelor's degree IN international economic relations from the University of National and World Economy.
