Veronika Bellmann
Veronika Bellmann is a member of the CDU/CSU, and was born on November 20th, 1960 in Chemnitz, She is a business administrator and specialist for marketing and distribution .
Political Career[edit]
In 1989, Bellmann was a founding member of the “citizen’s initiative” (Bürgerinitiative). She was without party affiliation until 1990. From May 1990 onward, she has been a member of the CDU. From 1991 to 1997, she has been a member of the CDU-FDP state executive board in Saxony. From 1996 to 1999 she was chair of the working group “information society” in the Saxonian CDU. She was a member of the Saxonian state parliament from 1994 to 2002. Since 2008, she has been the vice-chair of the CDU district association in Central Saxony.
Education[edit]
Bellmann qualified as a kindergarten teacher in 1980. In 1995 she further received a follow up-qualification as a state-approved educator. From 1991 to 1994, she studied business administration and administrative sciences. This was followed by studying law, communication, and political sciences.
