Ljubo Žnidar was born on 22 December 1960 in Celje, Slovenia. He is a member of the Slovenian Democratic Party (SDS; Slovene: Slovenska demokratska stranka) and a member of the National Assembly (Državni zbor Republike Slovenije).
Political Career
From 1999 to 2012 Žnidar was Mayor of the Polzela County. He has been a representative in the National Assembly since 2011. He is a member of the Agriculture, Forestry and Food Committee, a member of the Infrastructure, Environment and Spatial Planning Committee, and a member of the Commission for Relations with Slovenes in Neighbouring and Other Countries.
Education
Žnidar graduated from Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Maribor.
