Sebastían Pérez Ortiz

Sebastían Pérez Ortiz was born on October 15, 1965. He is currently a member of the Spanish Senate within the People’s Party (PP).

Political Career

Ortiz is the current president of the council of Granada and in July 2011 became the chairman of the People's Party of the Granada Province. He is also a member of the Regional Executive Committee and the Regional and National Board of Directors of the PP. During the Ninth Legislature, Oritz entered the Senate on March 9, 2008, where he serves as second vice president on the Development Commission. He was a councilor under the leadership of Mayor Gabriel Diaz Berbel in the city of Granada from 1991, but from 2003-2011 he served as deputy mayor

Education

Sebastian Perez has a background in political science at the University of Granada.
