Isidro Manuel Martínez Oblanca is a Spanish politician and member of the Foro de Ciudadanos-Foro Asturias (FAC) party. He was born in Gijón (Asturias) on November 12th, 1956. He is currently serving as a Senator at the Senate of Spain.

Political Career

Isidro Manuel Martínez Oblanca is currently serving his fourth term as a Senator. He held this position at the VI, VII and IX Terms. He also served as a deputy at the Parliament of Asturias from 1987 to 1991. He held that position again after being elected in 2011, but in 2012 the Parliament of Asturias designated him as Senator. He started his career as a councillor at the city council of Gijón. (1983-1987/1991-1995/1995-1999).

Education

Isidro Manuel Martínez Oblanca holds a degree in Nursing.
