Dr. Christoph Bergner is a member of the CDU/CSU and was born on November 24th, 1948 in Zwickau, Germany. He is an agrarian engineer and parliamentarian state secretary.
Political Career
Bergner has been a member of the CDU since 1971. From 1991 to 1994, he was a deputy county chairman for the CDU. From 1995 to 1998, he was the federal deputy chairman of the CDU. He has been a member of the Bundestag since 2002. From 2005 to 2013, he has worked as a parliamentarian state secretary for the Federal Minister of the Interior.
Education
Bergner is a qualified cattle rancher. He holds two degrees in agrarian engineering and research.
