Hans Jörg Durz

Hans Jörg Durz (born on 29 July 1971) is a German politician and a member of the Christian Social Union of Bavaria.

Political Career

Durz has been a member of the Bundestag since 2013. He has been the mayor of Neusäß 1996-2008 he has been a member of the City Council Neusaess from 1996-2008. He was the the Deputy Mayor of Neusäß from 2002-2008. He subsequently became the mayor of Neusäß in 2008 until 2013. He equally has been a member of the regional council of the district of Augsburg since 2002.

Education

Durz attended Rhabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium St. Ottilie from 1982-1991. He trained to become a bank clerk at Kreissparkasse in Augsburg from 1991-1993. He then studied business administration at the University of Augsburg from 1993-1999.
