Roelof van Laar was born on the 19th of May 1981 in Berken en Rodenrijs. He is a politician in the Dutch House of Representatives for the Labour Party (PvdA).
Political career
Between 2006 and 2010 and 2011 and 2012 he was member of the city council in Leiden. Between 2008 and 2013 he was the director of 'Stop Child Abuse' (Stop Kindermisbruik).
Education
He did a Bachelor in Political Science at the University of Leiden.
