Apostolos Vesyropoulos

Apostolos Vesiropoulos (Greek: Απόστολος Βεσυρόπουλος, born in Veroia in 1966) is a greek politician and Civil Cervant.

Political Career

From 1995 to 1998, he served as community counselor in Kypseli Imathia, while the years 2004 to 2008 was an elected member in the board of directors of D.A.K.E. organization of taxmen in Imathia , Pella and Pieria. From 2007 to 2010 he served as Prefectural counselor of Imathia and A’ Vice Prefect with major activity in Agricultural Development, Finances, Trade and Consumer’s Protection sections. In November 2010, he was elected in the Council of Municipality of Veroia. The same year he was elected Vice President of NODE, Nea Dimokratia Imathi, a position he holds until present.

He was elected second in votes MP for New Democracy party at the 17th June 2012 to represent the Prefecture of Imathia. He is currently a member of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs and the Committee on the Financial Statement and the General Balance Sheet and on the implementation of the State Budget.

Education

Apostolos Vesiropoulos holds an Accounting degree at the Business and Financial Administration from the A.T.E.I. in Larissa and a MA in Public Law and Political Science, from the School of Law, Dimokriteion University, in Thrace.
