Xhezair Zaganjori was born on March 8, 1957 in Shkodër. He is an Albanian politician and member of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania.

Professional Career

He has been a lecturer of International Law, European Law and Human Rights at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana, at the school of Magistrates and the School of European Studies. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Zaganjori was Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Federal Republic of Germany.

Notable Work

In 1988, he earned the academic qualification “Doctor of Law” and in 2009, that of “Professor”. From 1998 to 1999, he was a research associate at the Max-Planck Institute for International Law and Constitutional Law in Heidelberg, Federal Republic of Germany. Since 2001, he has been a member of the Court of Conciliation and Arbitration of the Osce in Vienna. Mr. Zaganjori was appointed member of the Supreme Court on dated March 22, 2013, after being Constitutional Court judge from 2003 to early 2013. He was appointed President of the High Court on March 24, 2013.
