Created in 2010, the Sanofi Espoir Foundation is committed to reducing healthcare inequalities, particularly among the world’s poorest communities. The goal is to strengthen local expertise in prevention, training and access to care.

Supporting Music & Visual Arts

The Aventis Foundation supports a variety of projects in the area of art and culture as well as science and higher education. Sanofi has sponsored a variety of musical events and concerts, for instance the Music at Moorland, in which Sanofi US sponsored the open-air fundraising event for the Somerset Medical Center in New Jersey, the Sanofi-Aventis Jazzfest at Madison's Drew University in partnership with the New Jersey Jazz Society and others. Through the Aventis Foundation, Sanofi also aims to promote film and theatre. Moreover, Sanofi has commissioned some small artistic and visual arts projects such as the Gathering Place public art installation at Sanofi-Aventis' research and development center on Innovation Drive in Oro Valley.

Promoting Human and Civil Rights

In the field of Human Rights enforcement, the corporation has been a member of the UN Global Compact since 2003.
