Christian Lausch attended secondary school in Hollabrunn and after that, spent a year at the local trade school. He then completed a three year apprenticeship as a retail merchant in Theresienstadt. After completing his military service in 1988, Lausch became a prison guard at the Josefstadt prison in 1989.

Christian Lausch, born on December 2nd, 1969 in Hollabrunn (Niederösterreich), is an Austrian politician and prison guard. He has been Member of Parliament for the FPÖ (Freiheitliche Partei Österreichs; Freedom Party of Austria) since 2008.

Political Career

Lausch is the district party executive member of the Freedom Party and between 2003 and 2006, was the deputy district party Chairman of Hollabrunn. Since 2007, he has been the managing district party Chairman. Lausch is also a member of the Lower Austrian Provincial Party Committee and was elected Chairman of the group of voters ON-Josefstadt in 2004. Since 2005, he has also been the Chairman of the Staff Committee in the prison of Vienna-Josefstadt. In addition, Lausch is also a council member at Hollabrunn and Member of Parliament since October 28th, 2008.
