Since 2006, she has also been a member of the federal party leadership. In the Parliamentary elections 2008, Kitzmüller ran fourth in the FPÖ-country list for Upper Austria and scored as top candidate the regional constituency in Mühlviertel. Kitzmüller was sworn in on 28th October 2008 as a deputy. She is a spokeswoman for the FPÖ parliamentary group for family related issues.

Anneliese Kitzmüller, born on July 3, 1959 in Linz, is an Austrian politician and Member of Parliament for the FPÖ (Freiheitliche Partei Österreichs; Freedom Party of Austria).

Political career

Kitzmüller has been a FPÖ councillor in Kirchschlag since 1991. In 1994, she was elected as the county party chair and deputy-member of the provincial party leadership. In 1995, she became the local party chairwoman, and in 1996, the Group Coordinator and Assessor at the Provincial School Board Upper Austria. Between 1997 and 2003, Kitzmüller was a member of the municipal council of church, as well as the chairwoman of the Committee on Impact of Construction and Road Building. In 1998, she was elected as the state chairwoman of the Freedom Family Association, and one year late she became the Deputy Federal Coordinator of the Freedom Family Association.
