Argyris Dinopoulos (Greek: Αργύρης Ντινόπουλος) was born on 17 March 1956 in Athens. He has been a journalist and War Correspondent since 1989 and is now a member of the Greek parliament with the political party of New Democracy.

As candidate for the position of the director of the prefecture of Athens and Piraeus, in the 2006 elections, he was supported by "New Democracy Political Party”. In 2007, he served as Prefecture counsellor. He was also head of the team "Hypernomarxia Drasis" running for the prefect of Athens and Piraeus.

He was first elected to the Greek Parliament in 2007 and then reelected in 2009 and 2012, to the constituency of Athens.
