Blue Plan (or Plan Bleu)[edit]
An environmental regional cooperative framework within the United Nations Environmental Programme’s (UNEP’s) Mediterranean Action Plan, between the 21 states bordering on the Mediterranean and the European Union. One of the main aims of this framework is to provide information and knowledge about common environmental risks and sustainable development issues in the area, so that informed decisions can be made to combat climate change and promote environmentally sustainable policies in the region.
