Cecile Thibaut, born in 1967 in Namur, is a Walloon Belgian politician, member of the Ecolo party.
Political career[edit]
Thibault was advisor to the Etalle commune from 2000 to 2009. From 2000 to 2008 she was regional Secretary for Neufchâteau-Virton and provincial secretary for Ecolo Luxembourg. Since late September 2009, she was a co-opted Senator.
Education[edit]
She has a degree in Biological Sciences and is an Associate Professor of Higher Secondary Education (University of Namur) Nature guide.
