Róbert Madej was born on 3rd of January 1981. He is a member of the Slovak National Council representing Smer-SD. He is chairman of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee and a member of the Committee for the Review of Decisions of the National Security Authority.
Political Career
Róbert Madej started his political career in 2002 when he was elected a member of the Slovak National Council for the first time. From 2002 to 2006, he was a member of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee. Between the years 2006 and 2010 when he was reelected, Madej was again a member of the Constitutional and Legal Affairs Committee, and of the Mandate and Immunity Committee.
Education
In 2007, Róbert Madej graduated from the Faculty of Law at Trnavská univerzita in Trnava. He obtained his doctorate in 2013 from the Faculty of Law at Univerzita Pavla Jofeza Šafárika in Košice.
