Political career

Lorraine Higgins is currently the Labour Party spokesperson on Reform and Foreign Affairs in the Irish Seanad. She ran as the Labour Party candidate in the Midlands–North-West constituency for the 2014 European Parliament election. She was unsuccessful in this election.

Education

Higgins graduated from the National University of Ireland with a thesis in Political & Social Science and History in 2001. He also attended the Honorable Society of Kings Inn from 2001 to 2005.
