Roberto Battelli

Roberto Battelli (born October 19, 1954) is a member of Slovenian National Assembly and a member Italian and Hungarian National Communities Deputy Group (IMNS).

Political career

Since 2002 he has been a representative of the Italian national community in the Slovenian National Assembly. In 1992, he became a member of the OSCE Parliamentary Assemblywhere he has been especially active in election observation. In 2009, he was elected Treasurer of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and re-elected in 2011 and 2013. He has held a position of the OSCE PA's Special Representative on South East Europe since 2006. Battelli has also been an active member in Ad Hoc Committee on Transparency, the PA's Parliamentary Team on Moldova and Reform of the OSCE and the Sub-Committee on Rules of Procedure.

Education

He started his studies at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana but never finished them.
