Beatriz Marta Escudero Berzal started her political career as a councellor of the municipality of Segovia (Castile-León) in 1991. After that she was appointed as alternate magistrate of the Court of Segovia. In 2003 Beatriz Marta Escudero Berzal became General Director of the public function of the Castile-Leon regional government. Between 2004-2008 she was secretary of communication for the People's Party  of Segovia, her hometown. She was elected as senator in 2008 and she became member of the national Board of the People's Party.
