Heikki Autto was born on the 23rd of August in 1984 in Rovaniemi. He has been a member of the Finnish parliament since 2011 representing the National Coalition Party Parliamentary Group.

Heikki Autto was elected in 2008 to the City Council of Rovaniemi. In 2009 he was voted Chairman of the City Council. At only 25 years of age, he was the  youngest person ever to hold the position.
