| − | Ekaterine Tkeshelashvili trained as a lawyer in the International Committee of the Red Cross and later in IRIS Georgia, office of the University of Maryland's Center for Institutional Reform and the Informal Sector. From 1997 to 1999, she became chief Specialist Center for Foreign Policy Research and Analysis in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georigia. In 2001, she was a lawyer at Lawyer's Committee of Human Rights in New York. In December 2002, she interned at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in Hague, Netherlands till 2003. After, in 2004, Ekaterine Tkeshelashvili became the Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia. In September 2005, she was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Interior.
