Ciara Conway is an Irish Politician and was born on the 13th of August 1980. She is currently the Labour TD for the consistuency of Waterford and was elected at the 2011 general election.
  
Ciara Conway was born on the 13th August, 1980 and is an Irish Labour Party Politician. She is the Labour Teachta Dala TD for Waterford and was elected at the 2011 general election.

==  Political Career  ==

Ciara Conway was the Vice-Chair in the Oireachtas Committee on Health, Children and Youth Affairs, in June 2011. Additionally, she was elected to Dáil Eireann, in Feb.2011 on the first attempt and was also elected to Dungarvan Town Council, on June 2009. She was the SU Officer in National University of Ireland(NUI) in Galway Students Union , from 2001-2002. She was also the International Officer Labour Youth National Executive from 1999-2000.

She played a key role in ensuring the Protection of Life during Pregnancy which was passed in January 2013. She was the first ever women to represent the Labour Party for the constituency of Waterford. Prior to her election as an MP she was elected to the Dungarvan council in 2009. She has also worked as an anti-discrimination officer in Galway and participated in the Labour Youth programme.
