From March 2003 to November 2004, she was a Vice President and then became its President as of December 1st, 2004. In addition, she has been the National Group chairwoman of the Austrian Economic Association (ÖWB) from 2004 to 2014. Brigitte Jank has been a member of the state party executive of the ÖVP Vienna since 2006. Afterwards she was a member of the State Executive Committee of the ÖVP Vienna. She was sworn in on October 29th, 2013 as member of the Austrian National Council. Since 2014, Jank is an Honorary Chairwoman of the Vienna Economic Association.
