Beatrice Lorenzin was born in Rome on 14 October 1971 and she is an Italian politician.
In 1999 she became the coordinator for Forza Italia's regional youth movement in Lazio.  
 
  
She was entered the Italian Chamber of Deputies in 2008 with Popolo della Libertà, working in the Transport, Post and Telecommunications Commission, the Execution of Fiscal Federalism Commission, the Infantry and Adolescence Commission, the Legislation Committee and the Constitutional, Presidential and Internal Affairs Commission.

In 2013 she was re-elected for Popolo della Libertà, retaining the seat in the Constitutional, Presidential and Internal Affairs Commission and entering the Culture, Science and Education Commission. In 2013, she was appointed as Health Minister by the prime minister Enrico Letta.

In 1996, she became a member of the italian Party Popolo della Libertà and on October, 1997 she was elected to the city council of Rome.

On April 1999 she became Lazio regional coordinator of the Party's youth movement.

On May 2001, she was re-elected city councilor of Rome.

Then she joined the Party, Forza Italia as group leader and she served in the post until 2006.

On April 28th 2013, she became Minister of Health to the cabinet led by prime minister Enrico Letta.

On November 2013, she left the Party Popolo della Libertà and joined the Party Nuovo Centro Destra, led by Angelino Alfano.
