At the beginning of his political career he was an adviser for Jarosław Kaczyński, the previous Prime Minister. Also, he was responsible for the funeral ceremony of Lech Kaczyński; the President who died in plane accident in Smolensk in 2010. He took a part in the production of the  book and movie "Mgła"("The Fog") about this catastrophe. Adam Kwiatkowski is a member of the largest opposition party, Prawo i Sprawiedliwość. He was elected in 2011. In the Polish Parliament he is member of Committee for Poles Abroad and Committee for public finances.
