Ulrike Bahr

Ulrike Bahr (born April 25th, 1964) is a German politician and a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). She joined the SPD in 1986.

Political Career[edit]

Bahr has been a Member of the local association SPD Board Jakobervorstadt/Bleich. She was the local committee chairman from 2009-2012. She equally has been a Member of the sub-district board SPD Augsburg since 2008. Equally, Bahr has been the Chairman of the sub-district of Augsburg since 2010. It should be noted that Bahr established the SPD-expert forum for Migration. She also managed the expert forum for Social and seniors. She is a Member of the district board of the SPD Swabia and has been the deputy chairman since 2013. She is the Councillor in Augsburg and deputy parliamentary leader since 2008. Equally, Bahr is the educational policy and personnel policy spokeswoman for the city hall Group. In addition to this, Bahr is a Member of the Youth Services Committee, Youth, Housing and Social Committee, Works Committee elderly, organizational and Personnel Committee, Education Committee, vocational school committee.

Education[edit]

Bahr attended Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium in Nördlingen in 1974.; She obtained her Abitur in 1983 at Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium. She studied to become a teacher at the at the University of Augsburg in 1983.

Notable Work[edit]

Bahr is a Board member of the bipartisan alliance for human dignity and a member of the Association of Victims of the Nazi Regime / Fascists (VVN / BdA).
