Sebastián Franquis Vera

Sebastián Franquis Vera, born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on the 31st October of 1961, is a Spanish national deputy elected for the constituency of Las Palmas (Canary Islands) in the 10th term. He is a member of Socialist Worker’s Party (PSOE).

Political Career[edit]

Sebastián Franquis Vera was elected as national deputy for the first time in the current term. He is acting as spokesman of the Commission for Industry, Energy and Tourism and as a member of the Internal Affairs Committee, of the Commission of Development and of the Mixed Commission for the relations with the Auditors Court. Before becoming a national deputy, Sebastián Franquis had also been councillor and spokesman for his party in the city of Las Palmas.

Sebastián Franquis Vera holds a diploma in Labour Relations.
