Salvador Sedó Alabart Salvador Sedó Alabart, born 3 April 1969 in Reus (Tarragona), is a Spanish senator elected by the Parliament of Cataluña for the 10th Congress of Deputies. Sedó Alabart is a member of Unió Democrática de Catalunya (UDC). In the Spanish Senate, this political party is within the Parliamentary Catalan Group Convergència i Unió (GPCIU).

Political Career[edit]

From 2011 to 2014, Sedó Alabart was a Member of the European Parliament. During the year of 2011, he was the Director General of Foreign Affairs of the Generalitat of Catalunya. In the Spanish Senate, Sedó Alabart is a spokesman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, of the Committee on Industry, Energy and Tourism and the Joint Commission to the European Union.

Education[edit]

Salvador Sedó Alabart is an industrial engineer, specialising in Mechanical from the University Politécnica of Catalunya. Additionally, he is a member of the College of Technical Industrial Engineers of Tarragona. Finally, he has a Postgraduate in Leadership for Public Management at IESE Business School.
