Ramon Alturo Lloan

Ramon Alturo Lloan, born in Durro (Lleina) on the 15th April of 1955, he is a spanish senator for the Autonomous Community of Catalonia for the 10th term. He is a member of "Convergència Democràtica de Catalunya" (CDC) and he was elected as senator for the coalition "Convergència i Unió" (CiU).

Political Career[edit]

Ramon Alturo Lloan was elected as senator for the first time in the 9th term. During the current term, he is the acting second secretary of the special commission for the development of internationalisation and the ecosystem commission, of the innovation for the service of the spanish industry commission and the commission for the developed world. He is a spokesman for different commissions such as the Education and Sport Commission and the Industry, Energy and Tourism Commission. Before being a senator he was also Superintendent of Education in Lleida (2000-2003) and President of the Federation of CDC (Convergència Democratica de Catalunya) in Lleida.

Education[edit]

Ramos Alturo Lloan holds a degree in Technical engineering. He was a highschool teacher between 1988-1999 and a headmaster.
