Odyssefs - Nikos Voudouris was born in Budapest in 1953. He is a Greek politician and Doctor.

Political Career[edit]

He was elected MP for the first time in the elections of 2009.

Education Career[edit]

He is a physician Surgeon, and has a PhD from the University of Paris. He speaks French, Italian and English.

Notable Work[edit]

He gained his first political experiences in the barricades of May '68, when he participated in the French student movement of the 70s he was elected student representative on the Boards of the Universities of Grenoble and Paris. He was President of the Students Union of Grenoble and a member of the Board of UNEF ("French EFEE"). He participated in humanitarian surgical missions in conflict areas, and other crises (Salvador, Cambodia, Mali, Kurdistan, Somalia, Bosnia, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Iran, Kosovo, Turkey, Palestine, Afghanistan, Pakistan etc.) He was president of the Greek section of Doctors Without Borders, vice president of international organization Médecins Sans Frontières, president of anthropos.gr, president-general manager of the Regional Health System Peloponnese, a member of the Committee of the Ministry of Health for the Management of Health Problems in Mass Disasters and a member of the National Council on Foreign Policy.
