María de la O Ares Martínez-Fortún is a Spanish politician for the People's Party. She is currently a Deputy at the Spanish Congress after being elected in the last general elections that took place in 2011. She was born in Calviá on July 27th, 1981.

Political Career[edit]

María de la O Ares Martínez-Fortún's career has been mainly focused on the private sector. She was an accountant in several companies and also the Director of the Management and Accountancy Department of a hotel company. However, her political activity began to gather speed as she became a project coordinator at the Calvia city council. She has been a deputy since 2011, when she was elected as a deputy by the Balearic Islands.

Education[edit]

María de la O Ares Martinez-Fortún has a Bachelors Degree in Business. She has also studied International Trade at the École Superiore du Commerce in France.
